Lefkada Archaelogical Sites

The caste of Aghia Mavra is located at the entrance of the island. It is one of the most imposing medieval buildings of Greece, you really can miss it!
It was built around 1300.

Nirikos: 2 km outside and east of the town, passing through the olive grove, you can reach Kalligoni.
You will see the traces of the Ancient Lefkada, don’t expect a museum. For people really passionate about archaeology. Everyone interested in archaeology should not miss the Municipality Museum and the near Nikopolis, near Preveza (around 20KM) and Preveza Museum.
