The caste of Aghia Mavra is located at the entrance of the island. It is one of the most imposing medieval buildings of Greece, you really can miss it!
It was built around 1300.

Nirikos: 2 km outside and east of the town, passing through the olive grove, you can reach Kalligoni.

KITE SURF in LEFKAS (LEFKADA)

Lefkada is ideal for who makes Windsurf and mostly Kite Surf. The wind blows almost always with a strength that goes from 15 to 2 knots. The beach to be with the kite is “Milos beach” that means “windmill beach “. Here you could do surf in a turquoise sea with a wide white beach and on the background old windmills.

For a change of scenery go to Agios Nicola (Aghios Nicolas). Just out Lefkada Island. Here the water is “flat” and permits special experiences. There are showers on the beach.
